Have travelled to a few countries, and Viber has always worked. The only exception is wifi signal strength, which is no fault of the app.

Viber is a great communication option for almost all international calls. Its obvious there will be expected "poor connections" during the duration of the call particularly if its a long one, but that all depends upon the WiFi connectivity. Overall, its almost an excellent choice for calls in terms of Access, Reliability, & Cost. I dont think there can be any other competition out there better than that.

Skype is honestly your best option, dont even bother with this. The video quality is subpar at best, theres a constant feedback loop, and if your connection isnt good enough itll just drop the video feed repeatedly. Like I said, dont bother with this.

I had my phone number already registered and now cannot sign-in because its a voip phone number. Since they obviously dont trust their own users why should anyone trust them? If this is their idea of "security" then anyone is better off without using this idiot app.

This app is truly exceptional. I started using it when I was in Eastern Europe this spring and have expanded using it not only for text, but also for phone conversations, like the one I just had from the United States to Eastern Europe. I highly recommend it and have it on my PC as well as my smart phone.

I dont have a cell phone! Why cant I download viber without a cell phone! I think thats being cruel, I cant get it because I dont need a cell phone? Im a senior and I dont want a cell phone! Now, how do I get viber?? Jacqueline Kilsdonk
